Behind Al Zawja Modesty is, above all, an ambitious young woman, guided by her convictions and her deep attachment to her religion. I chose to leave France to fully live my faith and, above all, to wear my veil in complete freedom, without constraints or judgmental looks. I sought this freedom both in my personal life and in my spiritual journey. Through this brand, my intention is simple: to make da'wa (inviting others to Islam) around the veil, to convey a true image of what it really represents, and to make people love it as much as I do.
We go against the grain of fads and trends. Al Zawja Modesty is not about fast consumption, but about meaning and consistency. Our clear aim is to combat exhibitionism, tabarruj (displaying one's adornments), and excessive embellishment in the veil, to return to something simpler, more modest, and more authentic.
Today, I live in Egypt with my family, where I work daily on the brand. It's an intense life, full of work and responsibilities, but also a lot of self-doubt, fatigue, and moments of grace. Like any sincere journey, there are ups and downs, but always the same guiding principle: staying aligned with my values.
Al Zawza Modesty is a reflection of this journey. A brand born from a personal quest, a return to basics, and a deep desire to offer a more modest, more thoughtful fashion, and above all, more in line with what I wish to convey.
Beyond the clothes, it's a story. A vision. A commitment. 🤍
