Why "Al Zawja Modesty"

Al Zawja means “the wife” in Arabic. A simple yet profound word that evokes dignity, responsibility, and a certain vision of womanhood in its entirety. Initially, Al Zawja was conceived as a broader brand, centered around the world of women, particularly married women, with products such as perfumes, musk, and religious books. This is where the initial name choice came from.

But over time, very quickly the brand took a different direction, clearer and more focused on clothing modesty. The name being already established, I chose to add Modesty to express this evolution and fully embrace this new identity. By associating Modesty with it, the intention becomes obvious: to place modesty at the center, as a guideline and foundation for every creation.

This name reflects my own vision of women and is not just a name; it is an identity built with meaning, reminding us that another way of dressing and presenting oneself is possible, with sobriety and conviction.
