Why "Al Zawja Modesty"

Al Zawja means “the wife” in Arabic. A simple yet profound word that evokes dignity, responsibility, and a certain vision of women in their entirety. Originally, Al Zawja was conceived as a broader brand centered on the world of women, particularly married women, with products such as perfumes, musk, and religious books. This is where the initial choice of name came from.

But over time, very quickly, the brand took a different direction, one that was clearer and more focused on modest dress. Since the name was already established, I chose to add Modesty to express this evolution and fully embrace this new identity. By adding Modesty, the intention becomes clear: to place modesty at the center, as the guiding principle and foundation of every creation. This name reflects my own vision of women and is not just a name; it is an identity built with purpose, reminding us that another way of dressing and presenting oneself is possible, rooted in simplicity and conviction.
